In addition, the Alliance renewed five Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarships and two scholarships from the previous scholarship program for the 2011-2012 school year. Recipients include the following:

- Charanya Kaushik, McMurray, Pa., who is attending Washington & Jefferson College, Washington, Pa.
- Laura Stabile — Dan Cohen Scholarship, Wolcott, Conn., who is attending Lee University, Cleveland, Tenn.
- Brittany Cook, Naperville, Ill., who is attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, Ill.
