2011-12 MOST VALUABLE PLAYER AWARDS PROGRAM CALL FOR ENTRIES

Rosemont, Ill.—The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress, a separate but related organization of the National Roofing Contractors Association, presents its Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards program, open to roofing contracting firms and distributor and supplier firms.

MVPs demonstrate work-related and personal goals to which others aspire. The program formally recognizes employees who, under normal circumstances, may not be publicly recognized for their efforts, or eligible to participate in company recognition or incentive programs. Up to 10 workers will receive the recognition.

MVP winners will receive two complimentary airfares and two nights' hotel accommodations during the National Roofing Contractors Association's (NRCA's) 125th Annual Convention in Orlando, Fla.; one complimentary conference registration and exhibit hall pass to the 2012 International Roofing Expo®; two complimentary tickets to the NRCA Cocktail and Awards Reception; and a $100 American Express gift card. Additionally, one MVP winner will be chosen to be Professional Roofing's Best of the Best, an award co-sponsored by OMG Inc., Agawam, Mass., and will be featured in an article in Professional Roofing.

Self-nominations are not allowed. Each participating firm must prepare and submit an official entry form along with supporting information.

Roofing contracting firm employees eligible for nomination include any field roofing worker, foreman or superintendent. Up to three employees can be nominated per roofing contracting firm. Eligible distributor or supplier firm employees include warehouse employees, warehouse foremen, drivers or equipment operators. Nominations may not exceed five per national distributor or supplier firm.

Each person submitting an MVP nomination will be eligible to win a 16-gigabyte iPad 2 with Wi-Fi. Additionally, each person whose name is submitted as an MVP nominee will be placed in a drawing for a $100 American Express gift certificate. Both drawings will be held Dec. 1 at the Alliance office in Rosemont, Ill. Winners will be notified within two weeks of the drawing.

The deadline for submitting entry forms and supporting information is Nov. 18. Official entry forms and entry details can be found at www.roofingindustryalliance.net. For questions regarding the MVP program, contact Bennett Judson, the Alliance's executive director, at (800) 323-9545, ext. 7513 or bjudson@roofingindustryalliance.net.
